Baby Chicken Meatballs

Delicious bite-sized meatballs are the perfect addition to any toddler meal. Prepare the entire batch and freeze the extra meatballs for a quick and easy protein-packed meal.

Baby Chicken Meatballs


1 lb ground chicken

1 egg

1/2 cup applesauce

1/4 tsp ground onion

1/4 tsp ground garlic

1/4 tsp oregano 

1/2 cup sauteed spinach

1/2 cup carrot purree

1 cup wheat germ



Saute spinach on stovetop.

Mix ground chicken with egg.

Add in applesauce, spinach, and carrot purree. 

Stir in wheat germ, garlic, onion, and oregano.

Roll mixture into bite-sized meatballs.

Cover with foil.

Cook at 400 degrees for 30-40minutes

*Freeze extra meatballs in a freezer storage container or ziplock bag.
